Very First Step

Customization begins with an inquiry. After reviewing your request, we will discuss the design direction, materials, sizing, feasibility, quotation, deposit, production timeline, and final payment before shipment.

Do I need every detail figured out before inquiring?

No. You do not need every detail finalized at this stage. You can begin with a product idea, reference images, preferred materials, or simply the feeling and direction you want to explore.

What types of customization are available?

Customization may include material, color, sizing, hardware, finish, structure, or design adjustments. Available options vary depending on the studio, product type, and construction method.

Can I request a fully custom design?

Yes, selected studios may accept fully custom requests. However, feasibility will depend on the design, material availability, safety considerations, production complexity, and the studio’s workflow.

Can I submit reference images or sketches?

Yes. Reference images, sketches, moodboards, or links are welcome. They help us understand your preferred direction, but exact replication may not always be possible.

How is the price determined?

Pricing depends on the studio, product type, materials, size, construction complexity, customization level, and production time required. A quotation will be provided after the main direction is confirmed.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A 50% deposit is required before production begins to secure studio scheduling, materials, and handcrafted production time.

Is the deposit refundable?

Once production has started, deposits are generally non-refundable. This is because custom pieces require studio time, material preparation, and individual production arrangements.

How long does customization take?

Production timelines vary depending on the studio, product complexity, material sourcing, and current studio schedule.

Most handcrafted pieces require approximately 4–6 weeks for production, followed by 1–3 weeks for international delivery.

Shipping methods are selected by us unless specific preferences are requested.

Can I make changes after production has started?

Minor adjustments may be possible if production has not progressed too far. Major changes after production begins may not be accepted or may require additional costs.

Will I receive updates during production?

Updates may be provided depending on the studio’s workflow and the complexity of the piece. For some custom pieces, final photos may be shared before shipment.

Will my custom piece look exactly like the reference?

Not always. References are used to understand your direction, but handcrafted pieces may vary due to material characteristics, construction methods, safety considerations, and the studio’s own design language.

When do I pay the remaining balance?

The remaining balance must be completed before shipment.

Can customized products be returned or exchanged?

Customized products are generally not eligible for return or exchange unless there is a confirmed quality issue or order error. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your package and provide a full unboxing video if there is any concern.

Do you offer discreet packaging for custom orders?

Yes. Custom orders are packed discreetly, with no direct indication of the contents on the exterior packaging.
